Tualatin Valley Water District

Brand Strategy Planning & Design

Connecting an 80-year legacy with a new era of water leadership.

As Tualatin Valley Water District prepared for a significant organizational transition—from water provider to water owner alongside a $1.3 billion investment in the Willamette Water Supply System—Stanton Global Communications partnered with District leadership, staff and regional stakeholders to explore how TVWD’s evolving role, identity and relationship with customers could be reflected in its brand and communications.

Stanton’s Role

Brand Discovery + Stakeholder Engagement + Leadership Visioning + Brand Strategy & Messaging

Stanton led a discovery and visioning process that engaged TVWD leadership, staff and external stakeholders in conversations about the District’s history, brand strengths, customer relationships and aspirations for the future. Through stakeholder interviews and facilitated brand strategy sessions, Stanton gathered perspectives and identified themes to help TVWD consider how its longstanding legacy of quality service could evolve alongside its changing responsibilities.

The work generated strategic insights, messaging ideas and brand considerations that provided a foundation for TVWD’s continued communications and brand exploration.
